Ashley M. Moore
Growing CPA Firm
"A local IT company... doesn't necessarily specialize in tax and accounting, so there's kind of a learning curve."
— Ashley M. Moore
Ashley Moore started as a solo CPA, then expanded by hiring help. Drake Tax isn't cloud-based, so she needed professional hosting that her team could access remotely. What set her apart from generic IT companies was critical: she needed a provider that already understood tax software like Drake, TaxDome, and Adobe, not one she'd have to educate about accounting workflows. Her experience with a local IT company proved this point: they didn't specialize in accounting firms, creating a frustrating learning curve where she had to teach them about her software stack.
"It probably took like 45 minutes to an hour for the first one."
— Ashley M. Moore
Verito's tax software expertise eliminated the teaching requirement entirely. Setup required only her Drake serial numbers. The team handled everything else because they'd done it hundreds of times before. When Drake wouldn't update or employees needed onboarding, support resolved issues within five minutes. The experience was so smooth that Ashley's already reconsidering her local IT contract for device management, recognizing that working with specialists who understand accounting technology from day one saves significant time and frustration.
"Within five minutes, like, here you go."
