Sole practitioner • Managed IT + WISP • Tax preparation

"Reactive IT support caused panic during outages, and the IRS WISP requirement felt overwhelming."
— Nick Vitullo
As a sole practitioner, Nick wore every hat in his tax practice, including reluctant IT manager. He paid for hourly support, but that meant waiting for something to break before getting help. When systems went down, he scrambled to find someone available while clients waited. The IRS Written Information Security Plan requirement added another layer of stress. Nick understood he needed documented security protocols, but creating and maintaining that documentation felt like a second job.
"Verito built and maintains my WISP, added proactive monitoring, and implemented full-disk recovery."
— Nick Vitullo
Verito's managed IT service flipped the model from reactive to proactive. Instead of calling when something breaks, Nick has a team watching his systems and catching issues before they become emergencies. The WISP documentation is created, customized to his practice, and kept current. If a hard drive fails completely, the full-disk recovery system can restore his entire environment. Nick now has IT infrastructure that matches what larger firms enjoy, without hiring dedicated staff.
"A dedicated support team now answers quickly and keeps systems tuned."
